Core Surcharge

What is the core surcharge?

We offer you reconditioned brake calipers that are reconditioned in accordance with the original manufacturer's standards. We need your brake caliper for the purpose of reconditioning the original old parts. We will refund the deposit when the old part is returned if we can use the old part for reconditioning. For this purpose, the old part must be free from mechanical influences (scratches, knocks from hammers during removal, etc.), no screws/bolts must be torn off and the original shape of the brake caliper must be retained. If all return criteria are met, we will refund the deposit paid within 10 working days. Returns will be accepted within 12 months at the latest. Brake calipers sent in later will be checked and purchased. A refund of the old part deposit is no longer possible after 12 months from date of invoice.

Please choose one of the surcharge options which are convenient for you!

• Without surcharge: You send your old core back to Truck Center company and you only pay a good price. Returning the old core allows parts to be remanufactured. Returning your core helps save our environment by keeping tons of cores out of landfills annually!
• With surcharge: You simply pay the good price plus caliper old core surcharge that we supply. If you do not return the old unit to us, you will not receive your surcharge refund.
